change default editor [solved]

(1/1)

michalq:
What is the right procedure to change default editor from Notepad to Notapad++? I am not able to change [Deafault Editor] flag in the Editors list.

I am using Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64bit + 64bit MC

Changing [Default Editor] is the the FileType setup is correct.

How are you initiating the "edit" action ? Might be that you do it in a way that another action then edit is called.

I just create new item in the editors list ... see attached picture.

I need to know how to change [Deafault Editor] flag???

Mathias (Author):
Select "[Default Editor]"
Modify it so it loads Notepad++.exe instead
Press Save

Thanks a lot, but I recommend to add future option to change default editor from the list of configurations.
