Is it possible to add RAW files (from digital camera) preview?

The built in viewer do support some RAW format.
Some better than others.

In FileType Setup under configuration you find you can configure what filetypes should be connected to the viewer.
like *.cr2 *.dcr 

You can also in FileTypeSetup hook up an external viewer instead for the RAW filetypes if you have a better viewer.
