Ordering content in the correct order
« on: May 29, 2016, 13:09:29 »
OK, this may be a silly question (apologies if it is) but I have various folders with things like digital magazines each have files with the heading: title, Month, Year. I really want to keep the month in its alpha format rather thank swapping it to numerical. Is there  an addition column or a setting to do this or even to let me put them in my own custom order. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Susan,
Explorer Settings -> Display tab -> Date / Time Format -> check "Use custom date and time format":

double click the first entry, which (by default) reads: yyyy-MM-dd, to edit it
change MM to MMM (ie., from month number to month name)
rearrange the date elements in the order you need; eg. MMMM-dd-yyyy
