Problem with focus after opening FTP connection

If I connect to FTP server, "Log window" appears, which now has focus instead of panel, so after connecting I must click on panel to use keyboard (ie. arrows).
It happens only once after opening MC for the first time. If I close Log windows and opens connection to FTP server again, focus is still on panel. But if I close MC, open it again, focus is set to Log window for the first connection to FTP server.
