thumbnail mode small icons of folder

Ganz:
Why in thumbnail mode  the spec. icons  for a folders are so small - they have size of icons in Det. view mode?
but icons for ".exe"- files all is ok (if it has a big icon, 128 or 256 px..)
that my folders have icon resolution 256*256 or 128*128,  and size of thumbnails size 128*128 px...
in windows expolerer is ok - special icons of some folders have size  that other folders, and scalling...

MC ask windows for the thumbnails. Not sure why it returned them like that.. Do some of the folder have user specifics icons ?
I think it happen since it does not find a thumbnail from the thumbnail system for the folder so it takes the icon instead
