backspace key stops working after some time

Anybody seen this?
After a restart it works again.

As a workaround i removed the key assignments for go up and go root and put them in user defined command, problem solved, at least it seems for now.

Can you recreate when this is happening ?
Or what operations you did before it stopped work ?

Jean:
Mathias the backspace key binding for go up/root just seems to stop working after a time but the user command go up/root assigned to backspace keeps working. No particular operations, just copying / moving etc.
