MC v8.9 build 2528: CTRL+T
« on: July 20, 2019, 23:55:50 »
When in a panel only one tab is present and in that tab a search is running (RESn:) it isn't possible to switch to another drive as long as that search is running.

You can duplicate a tab but that new tab also points to RESn: with the active search.
You can select another drive in the dropdownlistbox of the running search but nothing changes.

Could it be possible to change this behavior so it becomes possible to switch to another drive in a tab where a search is running ?

I know, And it can't really be changed since the search is really happening in the background. And the UI is waiting for the search to complete.

But instead of duplicating a tab that is busy. You can double click on empty tab to get a new tab.
or if you hold shift down while selected in the device dropdown that device will open as a new tab.

Thank you for your solutions, they work perfectly for me (I wasn't aware of them) !
