SFTP using scp
« on: March 09, 2020, 13:49:50 »
Hello.
I would like to suggest a feature to use scp (securecopy) for sftp transfers to/from Linux like Machines.
With this feature it is possible to transfer files between Windows and Linux without the need
of installing a ftp server or Samba Server on the linux machine!
You only have to use your linux credentials to have access to the desired Files on the Linux Machine like Raspberry Pi.
(In Total Commander this feature is inlcuded)

Thanks a lot!
Kind Regards

The different is that TC cost money and have a budget to buy in code that does this.
SFTP it not the same as FTP-S, It is totally different and to be able to include it I need a 3rd party code that does this becuse develop everything from scratch my self is not an options since that would take to much time.
But since MC is free the budget is not there to buy a ready package for that. So I have to use free versions. And last time I look the free version I found was not an option.
But It is on my list and It will be added if possible sometimes..
