Install failure--x64_(9.5.0.2570)

The latest version fails to install with no messages. The installer just doesn't respond! Two downloads--from Multi Commander site and Filepuma--bitwise identical. My system: Windows 10-64-bit, latest version, HP computer, Intel I-7, 16 GB RAM. Running as Administrator didn't work either.

Uninstalling prior version made no difference.

There should be no issues with installation. Nothing have changed in that. same as it been last couple of years.

"The installer just doesn't respond!"   what does that mean ?   does it not start at all.. Does it not continue when pressing next or what ?

Do you run special sandboxing or security software that can halt stuff from running ?

There is a portable version too that do not need any installation.. just unzip and run.

Must just have been a fluke! Today it installed Ok.

What I meant earlier was that it didn't start at all--no sandbox, no unusual security--just came up and then vanished.
