Open drives and other folders with middle click in main window toolbar

My feature request is simple:
When I click with mouse middle button (wheel) on shortcuts in main window toolbar, I want them to open in new tab of currently active panel.
Currently nothing happens on middle click.
Screenshot attached shows drive E icon hovered by mouse. If I click it with mouse wheel I want drive E to be opened in new tab.


And complete offtopic: you should implement https for this forum, sending passwords as plain text in really insecure.
