Ulfhednar:
Just installed 2809
Cannot get past the startup flag @ reading config.  No idea if anything (eg error dialog) is behind it as it is 'fixed'.
Clicking on it makes it crash/close.

Really like the new copy / move dialog that appeared in the last release. Thanks Mathias   ;) 8)

Cannot get past the startup flag @ reading config.  No idea if anything (eg error dialog) is behind it as it is 'fixed'.
Clicking on it makes it crash/close.

Really like the new copy / move dialog that appeared in the last release. Thanks Mathias   ;) 8)

Btw Jus so you know, the Appcrashview stuff is no help, it tells me nothing. specially since it is a hang and not a crash.  ;)
Anyway I cannot replicate that. works on all machines here.. that strange..

Portable or installed ?

Can you start again and then when it hangs crash go into TaskManager and right click on MultiCommander.exe process in detaliled view and select Create Dump.
And then zip/7z it and upload it to http://multicommander.com/upload
Then I can see at what stage in the program it halts

Nevermind I been able to recreate it

Ulfhednar:
Thanks Mathias.
Yeah I figured the appcrash stuff was minimal use (hence FWIW) next time I'll just use the dump creation.
I have just been looking at windows logs & for dumps but you beat me to it ;)

BTW The upload URL gives a
