I don't get how you can have some files can be shown as bold and some not. You must have manage to configure some settings in a way so that some conflict is created.

You can send you config file by pressing "send feedback" from the help menu inside MC (make sure configuration files are checked)
Or you can send the ZFileManager.xml configuration from the config(1) folder and send it to http://multicommander.com/upload/ o

(1) type ":goconfig" in the command line field to get to the config folder

Ok.
With 7z File Manager, looking the 7z files with the 'bold problem', i see where is the bug/problem.
All 7z files with BOLD font are with "Extended Attributes" like D_ or A_ in 7z File Manager (9.20 version)
And MultiCommander can´t manage this type of 7z (No size, date, info etc.) and is impossible to view
files under folders. Internet not show info about 7z with Attributes D_ A_.
Look this pic capture from 7z File Manager.
May be i´m completely wrong with my view of the problem, but i´m try to help you. ;)
Thanks.

Mathias (Author):
The file attribute does not explain why they are BOLD.. it can explain why it does not show a folder as a folder.. but not the BOLD.

What version are you running ? 2.5.1 and lower has older 7z and 2.7 has a newer

Mathias (Author):
How did you create that 7z file? Im not able to create a 7z file with D_ or A_ attributes.

Mauro72:
Last 2.7 build 1171 version.
I don't create the 7z files. Downloaded from internet.
Try to download and open for example mkvtoolnix (a great mkv tool) from:
http://www.videohelp.com/download/mkvtoolnix-unicode-5.7.0.7z
or Far Manager (a text old style File manager).
www.farmanager.com (7z compressed file)

PD: I have about 60-70% of spanish translation. ;)
