Request/Suggestion: downloadable manual
« on: October 25, 2012, 19:03:33 »
I'd like to see a manual that is available for download so that we can have the documentation available when we're not online. I'm a very impressed Multi Commander n00b, but there's a LOT to learn here and I'd like to be able to read Multi Commander documentation when I'm not online.

It is planed, but it would require a lot of work and I do not know when I get the time to fix that.
However there are some free "Web to PDF" tools (I do not have links to them. but google will find them) that will convert webpages to pdf and that might work.

That looks really good.
You used some tool for auto generating it or something ?

Used HTTRack to download, then some manual work to cleanup/correct some links/compile.
Unfortunately, for some reason styles were not saved. I tried different browsers with the same negative result.

Hello. Instead of creating a manual I'm suggesting creating wiki with main subjects that needs to be discusses and allow MC users to write articles.  Maybe this will make less work for Mathias.
