I guess it's not a problem of MC but rather a problem of our network environment.

Support and Feedback / Re: tab showing networkfolder resets to c:

I assume the error lies on our side and is not caused by MC:

I tried meanwhile Free-Commander in the same environment and observed this behaviour:
At certain times all network folders disappear and reconnect directly afterwards. The file tab refreshes meanwhile several times and resets to [This PC].

unfortunately neither nor.
Reset to c:\ happens while running MC with constantly all network drives connected.

Unfortunately in my case it neither "very rare" nor in "unique situations".
However I do use "multiple tabs showing same path or related path".

I will try to work with fewer tasks (2) and report back.

Small note: I did not change my behaviour but the OS from Win7 to Win10. After that theses problems occurred.

Support and Feedback / tab showing networkfolder resets to c:
« on: July 15, 2019, 13:14:05 »
Sometimes, when I come back to a tab that I left aside for a moment or longer, it displays c:\ rather than the original location, where I left the tab.
I happens roughly 1-2 per week.

I am running MC
- with many tabs, some on the same folders
- with at least 3 network drives connected
- Win10 64bit pro

Any ideas?

The MC is randomly but often duplicating the entries of the tabs. It can be files or folders. Sometimes I even have the same item 3 times displayed. Hitting the refresh button helps. The duplicated entries still point all to the same file / folder.

I read this topic:
http://forum.multicommander.com/forum/index.php/topic,1479.msg5329.html#msg5329
I already changed the Filesystem Time out to 0 ms, as suggested above (no help).
I was not able to create a log file as described above.
