That worked.
ALso, if I click on a file and drag it to a folder in the other pane it only shows me a red underline
indicating the folder it will go to. Are there other options?

When I single click on a single file it shows me a dim underline rather than highlighting the name.
At some time in the past it did highlight the name but I can't find the setting now.
Am I wrong?

I have attached a file with a screen shot of MC.
You'll notice in the left file pane an item with a white background.
It is not in that directory. The item persists until MC is restarted.
On the directory tree on the right there are duplicated lines showing drive G.
Drive G has been dismounted.

In MC I have the left mouse button-single click set up as 'open folder' which works fine except that there is no way, that I can figure out, to select  folders to rename or move.
It always opens them. In windows, I have 'single click opens folder' set up and I can use 'ctrl' or 'shift' to select a folder or several and then move or rename.
AM I am missing anything? Or is just a limitation of MC?

Support and Feedback / Folder Tree panel changes size back to default

I am using Version 4.2 build 1672 64bit. Folder tree panel open on both sides.
I would like to resize the folder tree panel and have it remain wider than it starts out.
When I do click on some folders it randomly goes back to its original width and remains that width
 unless I manually change it again.
Is there a way to lock the width I want it?

Also, I created a set of custom columns under "Music". How do I use them?
I cannot enter anything in the "Autoload on filetype" box and the "Auto load on Path"
box will not allow me to add anything.
