Title: replace characters ( 1 or more?) to a fixed posion in multi-renaming
Post by: Jeefef on April 01, 2013, 12:57:11
Hello,
i had a post these days ( in the support forum) where i asked for replacing one (ore more?) characters within multi-filenames on a fixed place
my problem was replacing a space and i had ticked on the "all repacing"; when i ticked that of , the first space was replaced
i use this when to rename - proper to my standards - downloaded audio-tracks of a cd
but it is also possible that on this position there is another character.
i'm using on this moment a prog called "PS FileRenamer" to do what i want with this question
but why not in multi-commander?

thank you for any attention

No need since you can use Multiple [N] tags and then you can build the new name and skip characters at fixed positions
