Title: Remote File Handling
Post by: martin.oesterle on February 10, 2014, 10:16:23
Hi Mathias,
is it possible to implement something to do remote file handling (copy, move)... without copy/move data through WAN/client/WAN?

e.q.
on client: x:\ is a mapped drive \\namespace\data
copy x:\1.avi x:\2.avi

user has std rights (no admin ;-))

Bye, Martin

I been playing around with some ides on how that would work.. However it would require a program running on the remote machine (Maybe another instance of MC)
