Title: Request, temporary files should be kept until the tab is closed.
Post by: Alucard2k on January 29, 2015, 17:23:18
Hello, I've just started using this program.

When I open a file from within a compressed archive, the temporary file is deleted as soon as it is displayed.

Is there an option not to delete the temporary file while the archive or the tab that has it listed is still open?

Thanks.

It depends on the program that are using the temporary file. Normally MC will wait to delete it until that program returns. And if the file has changed it will ask you to replace it in the archive (Depending on if the archive supports that)

Using the Internal File Viewer for example the file is not deleted until the Viewer window is closed.

There is no option for disabling the cleanup.
