Title: Hangs-up while copying files

I am using the latest version of MC v1.2.0 (build 851) 64bit Edition on a64 bit Win7 HP Pavilion h8-1027 PC.
It hangs-up and stops copying but the clock keeps running when copying flies from a media card to a USB mass storage drive. I have to use task manager to stop it. Cannot stop it by cancel button.

I have not observed this happening on a laptop running WinXP professional.

Any suggestions?

This is usually a hardware problem with usb device.. some devices does not support the optimized write settings.

You can try it using a different read/write strategy in the "Copy To" dialog by select "Options > Advanced " > Read/write Strategy
And there select the "Normal, Same disk" profile.

Normally it is the write strategy option "Use System cache" and "Use drive Cache" that makes it fails.
