I'm viewing a (not too long) ASCII text file with MultiDataViewer and there is no vertical scrollbar to move in the document. Is this an option I turned off accidentally?
-
No it is shown automatically if needed.
Do mouse wheel work even if there is no scrollbar ?
-
I noticed this behavior only on certain files :o
I'm not able to scroll vertically with mouse either, only horizontally...
I have attached such a file. It is a text file with UNIX style line breaks (LF).

Wheel does not work ? that is strange.. (btw do not hover the mouse over the Horz scroll. then mouse wheel will only scroll horz..)
Does arrows keys works ?
Hmm Works for me.

I figured out that the mouse wheel problem was caused by a tool I use: http://ehiti.de/katmouse/ (http://ehiti.de/katmouse/) I disabled it now and I'm able to scroll vertically now with the mouse wheel. One mystery resolved... I'll disable Katmouse for MultiDataViewer, although it is a very useful tool to scroll unfocused windows with the wheel. Some apps are incompatible, one is Google Chrome. Looks like MultiDataViewer is another one :(
Regarding the scrollbar. I resized the window, made it smaller and vertical scrollbar did appear. However, the size seems to be wrong: I dragged it down and I'm still at about 50% of the file (see screenshot1).
Then I increased the window a little bit, and the vertical scrollbar disappeared again (see screenshot2).
Arrow keys work in all cases.
This is a Win7 x64 machine, with DPI set to 125% - not sure if this matters. Did not cause such issues so far, though.

If you want just wheel scrol in unfocused windows, AlwaysMouseWheel (http://www.softwareok.com/?seite=Freeware/AlwaysMouseWheel) works ok in MultiDataViewer and Chrome.

Thanks, it works indeed. However makes Volumouse (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/volumouse.html) stop working :(

The MultiDataViewer issue I posted is fixed with the latest build (v4.4 1725).
Thanks Mathias.
