I can confirm this in builds 3017 and 3102.

But ONLY if navigation to 'No' is done with arrow keys.  Using TAB, the 'No' is honored.

It looks like MC can delete folder with this files, can copy, but can not move.

Try the following.

1. Configure Right panel as you wish with default ("starting") tab selected
2. Configure Left panel as you wish with default ("starting") tab selected
3. Menu -> File -> Tab and choose "Save tabs to file..."
4. In the dialog that opens choose "Save All Tabs" and click "Save"
5. Create a new MultiScript UDC as below - bind it to a hotkey and/or add to a menu if you wish

Hi Mathias.

FWIW this problem is back since I bought a new, much upgraded PC (AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, SSDs all round).

It happens at least one per day, sometimes more often.

Build 2983 seems to have fixed the race condition causing custom key bindings to be lost.  Tested for nearly two months now.

Is it all keys or some ?
I have not been able to reproduce it.  But it loads keys and other things parallel during start up so it can be a race condition.. it can be that some commands are setup before all customized keys are finished loaded. I will move around so customized keys are loaded earlier for the next release.

Hi Mathias.  For me it's all user-defined keys.  Key bindings revert to OOB values.

I use COMODO Internet Security Premium (free)

I'm using Avast Premium (paid for), so that's not a common factor...

I also have this problem once or twice a week.  I agree it is more likely to occur when I close & restart MC quickly.

I have noticed that when the instance without a loaded CustomKeymappings.xml is closed, it does not overwrite my (correct) CustomKeymappings.xml.
So a restart (or three) of the program eventually reads and loads the correct CustomKeymappings.xml

@total_annihilation00, what antivirus do you use?

SRY, as for the buttons font, MC goes back to default font after restart.
and as for the tabs on the tab panel I see that if I change the fonts than the height of the tab is also changing in height. Where can I change the height of the tabs as a default.

Did you make sure that MC was not running before you edited MultiButtons.xml?

Built in backup do not just take everything in the folder.. Just the file that belong to MC. and some other things..

But I think I can add so the internal method for backup/restore can be called from script with something like
