Title: FTP missing
Post by: ulib on December 26, 2014, 17:38:11
Hello,

i installed MC because there is a integration of FTP.

But no FTP icon is there and i find no menu entry called FTP (in the help there is a screenshot with a FTP-Icon)

In the Extension Manager "FSFTP Script" is activated, but i can not set toggle "load at start".

what must i do to use FTP ?

Greetings
Uli

FTP is integrated as a virtual filesystem.

Click (Ctrl+F1/F2) on the Device DropDown list and there is a virtual device called FTP..  (Or you can also type FTP: in the command line field)

Sorry Meant Alt+F1/F2.. that will show the dropdown list

If you want to save login information then you add a site/bookmark instead of a quite connect

Really ? Okey..

Under FTP: you got quick connect (that I suspect you clicked and used before since you said used FTP there)
And there is another thing you can click that is named "Add/Edit sites"  if you selected this you can ADD and EDIT site bookmarks.
The site bookmarks will show up directly under FTP: and then you go into them and they will be used and it will try to connect.
