Title: What are the little squares for on a forum post?

I have noticed that, in the left hand Author column of a forum post, under my name it says "Active Member" and under that there are three little squares colored yellow or greenish yellow. Then comes my avatar image.

What are the three little squares for?

It is some kind of forum status
