Title: double click on Whitespace
Post by: Nico on March 06, 2012, 17:02:14
Hi Mathias,
Thanks for creating a great program and making it available free. I've just started using version 2 (64bit), am probably an average user. Excuse me if the following has been covered earlier. My suggestions:
= Can't find the tree view though screenshots suggest it exists - perhaps mention it in the documentation?
= What I really would love is that double-clicking in white space in explorer view would navigate up one level in the path.

To show the FolderTree view you press then first icon to the right of where free space is shown.
Also ALT+Num* will toggle the FolderTree

= What I really would love is that double-clicking in white space in explorer view would navigate up one level in the path.

I will see if it is possible to add an configuration option for that.

Only to confirm the interest of many people on this feature !
Ii've read in an another topic that this feature will be planed for version 2.1 and i'm using multicommander since version 2.7. 1 and unfornatelly this functionality lacks...
But I'm sure that Matthias will add it now soon, isn't it ?!?

Double Click on whitespace was never planed for 2.1  it was just added to the list of requested features around that time.

But it was added in 2.7.1

Menu > Configuration > Explorer Panel Settings > Mouse Configuration

Under "Mouse Action Options" the is a checkbox
"Go to parent folder if click was on empty area (whitespace)"
