Title: small button bar
Post by: exosceleton on December 26, 2012, 22:40:05
hi,
new to multi commander.
I love the customability of the button bar in itself, but there are a lot of buttons on there some i will never use, and i cannot figure out how to remove some buttons.
is there a way? i can clear its fuction, but the screen real estate remains.
perhaps it would be possible to have a few configs to choose from. (perhaps not a programmed feature, but some downloadable config files?)

cheers,

Or.. Open Button editor.. Click on button to change.. click on Clear button.. then click on Update Changes to save.

The clear button removes the fuction of the button, but it does not remove the button, no?
Is there a way to use the button editor to get only a single row of buttons instead of 4?

(clear.jpg = screenshot with the bottom row of buttons cleared, manual.jpg is with edit of the xml file)

No.. to change actual number of buttons you have to tweak the multibuttons.xml file manually
