The problem is that network drives (lan) are not showing up after computer restart. I have to manually use windows build in explorer to first log in into each of them, then they show up. I have unchecked "Save only paths to local harddrive", but it does nothing. Is there any way to use network drives in MC?

"Save only paths to local harddrive" is only for current path in tabs. So that startup is not hanged for slow network
Are they mounted drive like z: , x: or do you mean path to network drives like \\server\share\path ?
MC can not access the account information for network path. It asks Windows to do the login.

Disks are accessible though networks paths: '\\server\share\path', but can be mapped in windows explorer to 'x:' too. I can't access them either way without first using windows explorer - I don't get login prompt while using network paths.

Maybe it is the same problem as in this topic (http://forum.multicommander.com/forum/index.php?topic=402.0)?

Sadly, no. I am using Win XP.
In TotalCommander every each of disconnected network disks that is mapped in windows shows as (look at attachment). Is something like that possible in MC? I have to use different username and password to log into them.

If you have the drive buttons bar enable you will get that if windows think they are disconnected.

I have enabled every option that had 'drive' in name. Result after reboot:

I don't know. I'm not able to reproduce it.
For me they show up.

Do you have to log into them? I have to use different login and password for WinXP and network drives.
The thing is that I can't go to path \\server\user\ until I use Windows Explorer to log in into specific server (giving username and password). After logging in I can use MC to follow paths (\\server\whatever\). But then again, I have mapped disk (example: \\server\mydir\ in Win Explorer as x:) and if I go to it through MC by giving it a path \\server\mydir\ it opens, but letter 'x:' does not show up in drive list in MC. If I want them to show up I have to use Windows Explorer and go to each of mapped disks individually.
I have tried portable version without success.

Maybe it is a XP issue.. I do not have any machines left with XP.
I think I might have a virtual machine with XP some where. I will see If I can find it

Thank you.
