Support and Feedback / Re: (SOLVED) Language Editor issue
« on: September 30, 2015, 07:26:23 »
Hi,

With this last build I can't use language editor for some languages, Portuguese, for example, while others, like Swedish, show up OK.
For Portuguese and others I only get a completely blank tab. I can't even restore an old file.

What could be wrong here?

I'm using the portable 32 or 64 bit version on Windows Vista Home Basic.

Thank you for any help.

Feature Requests and Suggestions / Re: Tablets
« on: April 23, 2015, 08:05:33 »
Hi,

I don't know if this helps but I have a phone that "asks" what to do when connected to a PC.
Choices are storage device or battery charging.
If I choose battery charging it isn't recognized.

Regards.

Support and Feedback / Two microscopic issues
« on: March 28, 2015, 20:45:35 »
Hi,
first of all, another big THANK YOU for your excellent software. It's a great pleasure to be a small part of your project as a user and translator.

Two really microscopic issues:
  • There is an untranslatable string at the 'Unpack files' window, please see attached file.
  • At 'Copy/Move' Window, progress bar completes and shows completion message before the job is done, look at the number of files on the attached file

If any of these are my mistake, please tell me how to correct them.

Regards.

Hi Mathias,

great to know these news. Thank you for all your work.

If you need help, I can help with the documentation. I already create a PDF with the available documentation online (manually, not with scripts or mPDF). Maybe we can think of a way to do it using emails.

If you provide the needed info, I can write the text, take the screen captures, and then you just have to review it.
Just say so.

Regards.

Translations And Language Packs / Re: Have you Italian translation

I made one for Portuguese-Pt. Search the main menu for the language editor and create one.
It's very easy. ;)

Feature Requests and Suggestions / Re: Default Settings

I'm not sure if it's default setting right now but I have it always set on:
- always show/display hidden files/folders.

Beta Releases / Re: MultiCommander v4.4.1 (Alpha)
« on: July 31, 2014, 18:15:41 »
Hi,
I love the details. But I also agree that there is to much white space. I don't know how hard it is to accomplish but maybe two columns instead of just one? Add more properties to fill the blank lines?
And the 'bolded' filename is a good idea too.
Great work, as usual.  :)
Regards,
Pedro.

Thanks.  :)
I'll try that one since the two I tried were for GUI and light years away from MultiCommander's capabilities.

Support and Feedback / Linux replacement
« on: July 01, 2014, 06:53:26 »
I was very sorry to know that MC can't work in Linux.  :(
I tried two others programs but they don't even get close to MC. Can someone recommend a decent replacement for MC in Linux?
Thank you.
Regards.

Hi again,
problem solved, but not with my interference. Just tried again and all went well.
Thank you! :)

Support and Feedback / update failure
« on: June 15, 2014, 11:32:21 »
Hi,
Auto update to build 1700 is giving a 'fail to unpack' error. Please see attachment.
Regards

Thank you.

Portuguese-PT. Maybe you could have guessed by the flag? ;)
You are right, as usual. I used the same word for 'Replace' and 'Overwrite'. My bad.
Thank you anyway!

Hi,
this a mismatch text in buttons. It happens when an error occurs because I'm trying to move a Read only file. The dialog in the attachment appears and in the text above says "Move..." and the buttons below say "Replace...".
It's not important but...
Thank you.

19
OK, I didn't know it was that complex. Thank you. :-)

I'm sorry, I didn't made my self clear.
What I meant as a feature was for MultiCommander to uninstall other programs.
I wouldn't dream of uninstalling MultiCommander. It's just the best tool I have in my PC and my favorite for so many functions.

21
Where is uninstall in MC? I can't find it anywhere! I must be blind.

Hi,
this is a feature that would be great to have, a full uninstaller including cleaning registry, appdata, program data, start menu shortcuts, etc.
Another simple (I think) feature, the ability to circle around the device drop down list with arrow keys, meaning when I reach Portable and press down arrow again returns to the top of the list.

I donĀ“t have access to the folders. They just appear listed. I can't enter them, neither with Enter key nor with double click.

Hi again,
like you said, installed version didn't help but this v0.7.5 version seems to be working fine. Detected, installed and showing on device drop down list and Configuration menu -> plug ins manager!
I don't have any Android devices but pen drives and mp4 reader are detected and identified perfectly. Thank you.
Regards,
Pedro.
