Support and Feedback / Menu buttons not saving
« on: May 28, 2019, 15:09:07 »
Hi! I'm far from my regular office and setups I'm using. On the laptop I'm trying to configure I'm running into following issue:

Windows 1903 (18362.116) 32 bit
Multicommander 8.3 build 2469 32 bit ADMIN mode

When I add menu buttons (Documents, OneDrive, Multicommander etc.)  next to the drive icons on the top I can't get them to save. Adding one-by-one and saving them does not work for me. After restart of MC they are not there. What am I doing wrong? Is there a setting I unwillingly changed?

Edit 1: It seems like it is working by editing configuration explorer panel/Layout configuration - add cloud folders, special folders. It has problems after editing in right-click on the menu.

Thanks!

Another newbie here  :)
Did you try to Lock the Tab with/without allowing subpath change (right click on the tab)?

It seems like it is an old version of the program. I would start with double-checking if this happens on current MC with Win 1809

Support and Feedback / Hi all - Hi Matthias!
« on: March 03, 2019, 22:44:04 »
I just want to say thanks for writing this great program. To tell the truth I'm a little overwhelmed, but I need some time to get used to it. First - one suggestion: Could you create separate topic on the forum for newbies? I guess I would like to post questions which may eventually be obvious for more advanced users and at the same time help to 'get things going' assuming some learning curve.

At his point I have two questions, and no idea if I'm posting in a right place.

1. When copying or moving files I have this confirmation/options/presets box. Is there a way to turn it off? I spent some fruitles time trying to find it - no success.

2. When deleting a folder in the directory tree the display does not refresh. I have to click on parent entry in the tree for the deleted folder to disappear. Is this possible to set up or is it a characteristic of the control used?

Regards, Jack.
