Print Page - design the homepage in two columns?

Hi Guys!

Would it be possible to design the homepage in two columns?
So that the previous content (left column, currently gray background) stops.
That would be really helpful, because I often have to book something for scripts.

He want a Frameset that the left column with the Links stay when scrolling the right column with the content.
Maybe using the PDF Documentation will solve the problem:
