Title: [Issue] New File Viewer is not opened if a previous one shows some modal message
Post by: Jungle on February 03, 2026, 09:14:03
1. View a file (F3)
2. Search (Ctrl+F) for non-existing text to get error window
3. View some other file.

Result: file is not opened for viewing.

I don't know whether it is a bug or by design, but it's a bit unexpected.

its becuas the error dialog is open.. Its a modal dialog. so it catches all the message so they are not recieved in the module that shows windows.. it happens because each Viewer is not its own process.  Not sure it is a bug.. More a limitation on how Windows old UI system works.
