I strip all EXIF from my photos, mainly for security, I have tried Menu > Picture Tools > Adjust EXIF and with no metadata, I guess, doesn't do anything.

I have no idea how to use or what all those things do in User Defined Commands (Multidscript)

I have almost 7000 photos and 1800 photos that I want to change date and time photos from before 01/01/80, the rest are ok, that I have scanned and that windows doesn't show date and time (something about FAT 16) after using Change Properties in the Tools Menu.

I want to change the date and time attributes for folders with photos.
It works with the built in MC change attributes.
But with photos, is it possible to add time, a few seconds to minutes, to each subsequent photo.

For example... time 01:23:45, then next file 01:23:50, then next file then 01:23:55... and so one.

It would be great if you can.

I found an app that can do it, but would rather have it built into MC, it's a lot of work with the app.

I reinstalled over the existing MC... uninstalled and reinstalled fresh... and the same results.... blacked out portable icon... at least I now know it's there, albeit invisible.

It shows portable there... but no where else... when I left click beside the drive letters... portable is there, but blacked out

There is no portable listed and it was working fine before 15.1 build 3074 (I think), but it was working.

This is what I get... .when I click the phone nothing happens and yes, I have my phone connected to my laptop.

What happened to the phone icon when you click on Virtual Devices? I used to be able to access my photos on my iPhone and now I get Manage Sites... was the phone icon removed or was it moved somewhere else?

Hmmm didn't work for me... no problem though, I can live with it.

Everytime I open MC, the right window is highlighted, my D drive, how can I make it so that the left window is highlighted, my C drive?

I know that, I just thought the option of having 3 screens would be be easier

Is it possible to have 3 screens (panels) in MC to show the contents of 3 drives at the same time?

That's exactly what I want to do... but I do not see a 'View mode' button in the top right, but Ctrl+shift+B does exactly what I want it to do

I didn't have "view mode" checked in settings... I see it now

Is it possible to rename multiple folders with files in each, where you want to rename all files all at one time instead of one folder at a time without renaming the folder?

Try using wildcards when searching... for example

*filename*

took me a while to figure that out

I had some free time this morning, so for the hell of it, I decided to install the portable version of MC... MulticCommander_x64_Portable_(12.8.0.2929) into a separate folder... and surprise... all the buttons worked, but not the full installer version.

I compared all the settings in the full and portable and found one thing... under View - Toolbars... the portable had Standard checked and the full did not... I checked the Standard in the full and what do you know... all the buttons worked again

FWIW, I have the same thing happen about one a week.

Never found the problem.  All tabs are opened on physically attached drives (no networked/remote/NAS/USB drives at all).

At least I'm not alone this time

I'll have to try and remember that if it should ever happen again

Luckily I do backup every evening, so i did a restore and Multicommander has the right side panel again
But what would have to right panel to disappear?
