I'd like to suggest to use the same view mode as the source tab when duplicate=clone tab via CTRL+T
rather than using what's in the standard panel setting. I think this is more intuitive.

thanks for the quick answer, indeed my antivirus/firewall popped up but I had granted access.
I was able to fix the issue myself by cleaning up all left over UserData:

* Update "Multi Commander" located in : "D:MyPath\MultiCommander_Beta".
