Is it possible to auto open a new tab if a usb-stick is connected (open root from device)? Also close tab if stick will be removed.
If not, is it possible to implement this feature/configuration?

thx

I have a problem with autoexpand in FolderTree. If the function is disabled and i delete a folder in explorer panel there is a white space for the deleted folder in the FolderTree (no automatic refresh). You must close and reopen the folder (in  FolderTree) to correct this problem. If autoepand is disabled the autorefresh in is OK.

Ok, there was apparently something wrong in my regional settings. After reset the settings it's all right. Thank you for your help!

tooltip show:

Name: linuxmint-..........-32bit.iso
Size: 1 Bytes ( 1.00 MB )
Date: 28.11.2011
Attributes: -a---

correct size: 1.08 GB (1167065088 Bytes)

I have following Problem with MC. A file is 1.72 MB big but MC shows only 1.03 KB in explorer panel or the file is 1.08 GB big an MC shows only 1.00 MB. I have tried different settings with "Show size as:" but some files will shown wrong. Can anyone reproduce this problem?

I have this problem on different computers, also with different AVs and operating systems and only when using the "delete" key. Select folder -> delete key -> message from MC "delte files ... delte to recycle bin and remove link, not target is chosen -> "yes" -> new message from MC "folder is not empty!" -> delete all -> prepair -> and then the delte process is very slow.

Yes, i delete to the empty trash. Delete permanent (not to trash) is also much more faster.

When i delete many files and folders with the delete key (to trash) it takes a very long of time.  Delete from the context menu (windows delete) is much more faster. Is it possible to config the internal MC function to delete faster?

thx

Is there a way to change the split size manually to 60/40? I can't find the configuration for this feature in a xml or ini file.

thx

If i click on a folder-name in the folder tree MC automatically expand the subfolders. Is it possible to disable auto expand and show only the subfolders by click on  + in the tree view?

Thanks.
