Mathias, I would very much like the new releases/beta to finally fix the unpleasant bug associated with duplicating folders and files on network drives, it's very annoying to press F2 every time. This issue persists in the latest release.

I will make my suggestions for improving MC:
1. An internal file editor is required, using third-party editors like AkelPad or NotePad is very inconvenient.
2. I would like to be able to set the number of columns 1, 2, 3, etc. in a short format.
3. Status bar, when I stand on a file, I want to see its size and creation date, now I see the size when I mark a file, but I don't see the creation date at all.
4. Command line, the ability to transfer to the bottom.
5. In the highlighting of files, it would be convenient if after the name of the file / folder (on the right), a mark "*" appeared with different colors, by which you can determine the date of creation / modification of the file within 1 week, I think this is a very convenient feature, now it can be done only through filters.
6. Add to the color settings, the ability to fill the cursor completely.
7. I would like more preset hot keys, such as CTRL + H, to display hidden files, etc.

The best that was in Dos Navigator is now in MC!

Hey! I have a very problem that continues with every new version of MC. I have to work a lot with network drives and folders, unfortunately I cannot understand the sequence of my actions, but the bottom line is that when I go to the network folder again, all files and folders start to be duplicated / consumed. Those. I went into the folder 1 time, you see all the files 2 times, went into the same folder again, you see 3 times .... this is a very unpleasant bug, I will try to describe it more, and hope for a fix in new versions. The droplist can lose it font in some situation.. Have not identified exactly when yet..

If you  close the tab and recreate it or restart app it will fix it self.

Yes that's right! I just reported this situation, I hope it will be fixed in a future version.

This can be customized under: Menu > Configuration > Keyboard Customization > Module: 'Explorer Panel' > Category:'Module specific commands' then 'Go to the root of the drive'.
