Quick file launch
« on: November 14, 2013, 16:32:03 »
There is an icon for Notepad. If any text file is dragged to the icon it opens in Notepad. Is there a way to add other program icons, like Word, to the bar so files can be dragged to the icon and opened? This is my most used feature in PowerDesk, which I have had to uninstall.

You can drag and drop executable file to the quicklaunch bar and then customize it.

Drag WinWord.exe to the QuickLaunhBar and you get a Word icon there. and then you can drag and drop Word document on that icon and WinWord will start and show that document.

Or you can in FileType Setup add so that file with extension *.docx *.doc  should be opened by WinWord.exe, Then you do not even have to drag/drop the file. then just double click it.
