Is there any chance of getting the quick launch user defined button section of the command line toolbar on a separate toolbar? I would like to be able to dock the quick launch user buttons beside the file commands toolbar, and turn off all other toolbars.

Core settings > Layout > Application layout > Toolbars > Quick launch bar (Entire row)
Is this what you're looking for?

Yes, that's the one, thanks. Now is there anyway of transferring all the buttons I have set-up on the command quicklaunch with icons over to that toolbar? It is blank when I put it on.

In your personal config folder you find QuickLaunch.xml, rename/copy that to QuickLaunch2.xml
