Hiding Empty Drives

How does one hide empty drives, FTP, and Network in the Folder Tree? Apologies if this has been answered before, but a search did not find any previous posts about this.

You can not remove empty drives.
But some of the extended items in the dropdown box can be disabled. But not individually. But by group.
Check Explorer Panel settings, Layout tab
