Don't forget unavailable drives!
« on: July 26, 2017, 01:35:22 »
I connect to various VPNs to access remote computers and servers.

In Multi Commander, I keep a set of tabs open to specific folders on various servers.  However, if I open MC when that VPN is not available, it reverts all those tabs to the root of the C: drive :(.  There is not even a history in the tab, so I can't return to the previous location when the VPN is connected.  This is very frustrating!

It would be much better if those tabs each simply showed an error message saying that the drive/location is not available.  Later, if it does become available, I can click to refresh the view.

This would eliminate my only frustration with MC!

If you save the tab layout (File> Tab sessions) you can load the layout when your network connection available.

Thanks, Matthias!

This is a hidden gem that is obvious once you know it is there!

You are many steps ahead, as always!

Thanks
