Hi,
I often use MidnightCommander on linux in terminal/putty and what I really love that makes work faster is one of the options that is called "lynx-like" controls. (something along the lines).
When enabled one can use left arrow to go to parent folder and right arrow to open highlighted folder. It is much faster than use backspace and enter.
I was trying to use this similar way in MultiCommander (which is my preferred commander on windows) and I can setup the command "Go to parent folder (up)" in Keyboard customization, module "Explorer Panel" and Module Specific commands view...
I was however unable to find any place to assign right arrow instead (or have both) to open current folder. Maybe I'm just blind or do not know the exact spelling.

Can anyone help to guide me here? Or is there such option already available in settings? didn't find it myself.
thx

I could not find any (built-in) way to do this.

Can you explain why Left Arrow is "faster" than Backspace and Right Arrow is "faster" than Enter (each is one keypress) ?

I think it is just laziness and less hand movement... I use up-down arrow keys anyway and left-right feels very natural to use for "go up one level" or "go down one level" . (instead of raising hand and reaching for enter or even backspace!!!) it is one of those things that one gets used to it in 5 minutes and does not want to go back.
