Copy all files from multiple folders
« on: October 16, 2019, 14:58:02 »
I have a set of 20 folders, in each folder are one or more files. Can this program extract the files from the folders and rename them?

Not sure what you trying to do..  Extract ?? copy ?
You can search the file and then rename them in the result panel or using multirename tool

If these folders are inside one parent-folder you may switch to Flat View (Ctrl+Shift+B), select files and launch MultiRename (Menu Extensions > MultiRename).

Thank you,

There are dozens upon dozens of folders, some will be empty. Can I tell the program that IF there is a file in the folder to rename it, and then copy it to a different folder?

That is a very specific scenario. And you say Rename it.. Then you want some automatic rename.. and then you need some rename rules on how to rename it
So no, not a build in thing like that. You might be able to do it with script.

I don't know how to write script, but thank you. I was hoping, I guess I'll just do it all manually.
