cannot select drive after a windows freeze/crash

Last night my windows 10 froze and crashed.  Now, when I open Multi Commander, when I click on the drive on the left below the toolbars, nothing happens.  Before, when I clicked on the currently selected drive, a drop down menu would appear to be able to select any available drive.  How can I restore this?

It is impossible to say why it does not work.
Try to download the portable version, if that works then there might be something in the configuration that got corrupted. If portable version is also not working. Then it is likely somethings with you machine/setup that is wrong, maybe that was caused the crash you had.
