Virus/Malware in the package?
« on: September 28, 2015, 13:48:18 »
I have downloaded and analyzed the file MultiCommander_x64_Portable_(5.6.0.2001).zip with newbielink:https://www.virustotal.com/ [nonactive] and de result is:
Code: newbielink:javascript:void(0); [nonactive]
DrWeb Adware.Downware.12904
Jiangmin TrojanSpy.Agent.aalq

Is this a false positive?

That is false positive.

It is almost impossible today not to get that specially from smaller products like the Jiangmin (Chinese ) and them
and if only 2 out of  all the AVs there that complains, and none of them are major products. Then it is safe to assume that it is false.

Thanks Mathias. I like MC. It is a good application. And now with the ability to save tabs it is great.
