Selection color (inactive)
« on: June 21, 2014, 23:48:06 »
There was a recent query regarding the colors for inactive selections (Ulfhednar: "I've been wondering about changing color of the selection in the inactive pane.") with a negative response ("I had to set a limit of what can be configured").

I'm writing to request that the response be reconsidered -- the issue for me (and perhaps other users) is that the color of the inactive selection becomes so faint (e.g., pale blue background, white font) that it is very hard to read, and so a click is required to make it active and so readable. Perhaps a remediation is to reduce the extent of the "dimming."  [Thanks for sharing this terrific file mgmt tool.]

It is done so in Explorer mode only since this is what WinExplorer do.

Since it is connected to that settings it is currently not possible to control that separately.
A workaround is to change the focus/select color to a darker color then it will also be darker when not in focus.
