Drag & Drop unzip operation
« on: March 09, 2013, 03:55:43 »
When I try this, I just get
Preparing.....(x)

where x just keeps counting up, but it never unpacks the file.

If I click "Options" on the copy files and folders, and select FileOperation plug-in profiles, and then select unpacker, it'll unpack the files.

Or from the file -> unpack menu, it will also unpack the files.

It is impossible to say why it does that without more information on how on what kind of drag/drop you do
because drag and drop are messy and it all works different depending on where you drag from and drop to.
for example If the drag is started from another program and then dropped inside MC,  Or if drag is both started and dropped in MC. of started from MC and dropped outside of MC.

I'm opening the zip file from within Multi-Commander.  Inside the zip file, is a folder.  I'm draging the folder from one Multi-Commander window (Tab) to another Multi-Commander window (Tab)...  So started inside, MC, and finished inside MC, but different sides.

Interestingly enough, it's working this morning...

Let me know if you have any ideas, I can try to repro, and let you know if I do...

This is a great program!  I'd be willing to help in any way I can.
